Claire Crawford is a filmmaker based in LA and originally from Colorado. Drawn to naturalistic storytelling, Claire focuses her work on urgent themes, from environmental resilience to the complexities of identity and perception. Claire is currently earning her MFA in Documentary Directing at UCLA. Her recent films include My Body That is Earth and Storied Bodies.

She is currently developing two short documentaries, and she is a 2026 Mycoskie-UC Berkeley Psychedelic Documentary Fellow.

Previously, Claire studied Environmental Science and Political Science at the University of Southern California, followed by 3+ years working at POLITICO.
